Jan 2015 weather keeps hampering my plans! First of all I had planned to go to the new year show at Morris but due to ice I couldn't get the horses out of the stable let alone ride them!  Then we had a fab training session at Tillyoch Equestrian and had planned on going to the show the week after but due to bad weather forecast they decided to cancel the sat and only run on the sun. Well low and behold the snow came and so we were confined to barracks again! Next up is cabin Equestrian two day show so that's what we are aiming for! keeping everything crossed the weather improves by then!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FOUR LEGGED FRIENDS! Hope its a healthy, happy successful one!

WOW Its already October and I haven't updated the website!!

2014 is a very busy year!

Now its the start of my indoor training nights as the weather gets rotten and the nights get darker, where has summer gone!!

Lots of successful trips in between to Cabin Equestrian & Tillyoch Equestrian, who's arenas would be hard to beat anywhere in the country!

Oct I headed off to Morris Equestrian (formally Rowallan) which is the first time Ive been since the take over and what a friendly helpful team they have. A few of my clients also made the trip Cathy Hollingdale picking up a 1st & 2nd in the 90 open, Kery Davidson, Hayley knox & Lisa West all picking up unlucky 4 faults but really improving in a large spooky arena! Cristalle Lorellen was double Clear & 10th in a strong newcomers & a very unlucky 4 at the last fence in the jump off on the sun.

Aug saw me take the trip to Ingiliston Equestrian along with two clients Lisa West & Kery Davidson. Fantastic learning curve for all the horses. Cristalle Lorellen came 4th a competitive discovery!

There has been lots of improvement in Cristalle Lorellen who is now competing at Newcomers and has jumped her first fox. Exciting times ahead for this stunning lady!

Sad to say that Aslan H was sidelined in July, wasn't jumping right at the Cabin Sunshine tour so I got Victoria Lindsay from Veterinary Thermal Imaging out who located the problem. With the help of fab Physio & Chiropractors hopefully have him back out before the end of the year!

I have been training the East Aberdeenshire pony club showjumping for the past year and im delighted to say that the Novice showjumping team comprising of Olivia Guntrip, Katie Anderson, Lindsey Park & Lauren Arthur won at Interbranch and qualified for the final! Also the only Open rider Massie Sharp came 4th and also qualified for the final! Its the first year EABpc has qualified a team for the showjumping so to say I was over the moon was an understatement!

2014 here we come!!!  Happy new year to all!

Busy year ahead, lots of shows but no foals!  Lhanna is taking a year out from motherhood!  Her first foal Forever Lorellen (Ellie) will be 4 and hope to have her out to a show before then end of the year!  So it will be down to Aslan H and Cristalle Lorellen to do the business!  We have a job vacancy coming up in march for a partime weekend groom. So if you know of any one reliable and experienced at handling all types of horses get in touch!

Wow what a busy time!! Horses have all jumped great and are having a well deserved holiday. They will start back in work in Jan. We took our filly foal (Silverstone x Limbus) Lhanna's 4th foal Ivannah Lorellen to the Kwpn grading at Snec in September. She came 2nd Equal  showjumping filly foal. Then out of the whole of the Uk was 2nd equal showjumping foal out of all the KWPN gradings!

27/28 July - Back to the Cabin again & Aslan H excelled himself jumping the heighest hes ever jumped to date! He came 2nd in the 1.25 A10. So pleased with him!

12/21 July - Cabin Sunshine Tour! All 3 horses  jumped fantastic!!! They were placed in almost every class where every course was well up to height & technicallity!

8/11 July - great week of weather at EAPC camp. All the kids jumped fab & I never had to fill out any accident forms which is some feat considering I was in the showjumping arena all week! Great to see them all coming on!

6/7 June - Ladies weekend out again this time at Tillyoch Equestrian. Cristalle Lorellen was 2nd in the British Novice & jumped her 1st Discovery for 4 faults. Valinni was 2nd in the Newcomers on the sat & 1st on the Sun!

22/23 June - Cristalle Lorellen got her final double clear for the British Novice & came 5th & Valinni (owned by Brian & Natasha Rennie) was 3rd in the Amateur 1.10 & qualified for the finals at Cabin Equestrian!

9 June - Lhanna had a gorgeous chestnut filly at 3am. We have named her GB's after my late granny but her show name will be Ivannah Lorellen. She is a full sister to William again by Silverstone!

24 & 26 May - Great weekend again this time at Cabin Equestrian! Cristalle Lorellen jumped fab both day in the British Novice & Discovery for an unlucky fault but is really getting more confident. Valinni excelled herself again with double clears both day & gaining a 1st & 2nd place in the Discovery (she has jumped 4 Discoverys in the last couple of weekends gaining 2 1sts, a 2nd & a 3rd & already getting all her double clears for next year!!!) Aslan H jumped fantastic in the Foxhunter on the Fri for 3rd place & had an unlucky 4 in the 1.15m scope qualifier on sun.

18 May - We took Heirloom Lorellen our yearling colt out of our prolific mare Lhanna by the stallion VDL Silverstone to the New Aberdour show to compete in the Scottish Sportshorse Youngstock Class. He won the Yearling class & came Reserve Stallion in the section Qualifying for the final in August at SNEC!! He behave immpecably! Huge thanks to Supergroom Carole Gover for showing him & to Zoe Wright for all the showing prep (something that is ailen to me!!!) & for organising a wonderful show!

11 & 12 May - What a fantastic weekend at Tillyoch Equestrian. On the Sat Cristalle Lorellen was 6th in the British Novice & jumped her 1st Discovery coming a credible 5th and gaining qualification the the Katherine James Scope final! Valinni (owned by Brian & Natasha Rennie) came 3rd in the Discovery also qualifying for Scope. Aslan H jumped a fantastic double clear in the Foxhunter coming 2nd! On the Sun I just took Cristalle Lorellen whom came 2nd in the British Novice & Valinni whom came 1st in the Discovery! Great weekend topped off by Scottish Equestrian TV arriving & filming the class Valinni won & also interviewing me later! Will post the link shortly!! Just hoping I don't have subtitles like my dad!

May - Along with my fab groom, Carole Gover, we have decided on a new venture a horse pamper parlour! Drop you horse/ pony off & come back to it gleaming & completely made over. Whether you have a show & want the cleaned & pleated or you just fancy giving them a pamper give us a call on 07917868809 to book.

28 April - Back to the Cabin BS show with Aslan H & Valinni. Had an even better day at the office!! Val had toned it down a bit and was more focused! She won the Discovery class with a double clear & Alsan H jumped another fab double clear in the Newcomers coming 4th.

27 April - Trained the EAPC teams for their team jumping compeition at Aden Park. They all jumped fab & their teams one every section!! Well done EAPC!!

26 April - Took Alsan H & Valinni (owned by Natasha & Brian Rennie) to Cabin Equestrian BS show. Valinni was so excited to be out that she bucked to whole way around the discovery course but still gained a double clear. Aslan H jumped great going double clear & coming 3rd in a strong Newcomers class.

April - Straight back into it! Busy training with EAPC getting them all ready for their team showjumping competition. Also been very busy with our Intense Training Packages. Happy horses & riders all set for the coming season. Training has gone crazy having to add extra dates to my clinics!

18th April Just back from a fab holiday in Majorca, exactly what I needed to recharge the batteries after a VERY long winter!

7th April I took my wonderfull groom Carole Gover out to Ugie Dressage competition at Annandale. She did fantastic coming 2nd in both classes & winning the league!

5TH April woop woop yard up and running again. All training back on! Looking forward to 1st training in ages at Waulkmill Ellon!

28 march Well If it isn't the weather its this EHV-1 virus. Due to two known cases in Aberdeenshire I decided to do the sensible thing & put the yard on to lockdown & postpone all training in the hope that this virus is isolated so that we can get back out jumping soon. With Lhanna due her 4th foal I felt this is the most sensible option. Better safe than sorry!

12 march again the weather as even a problem! Was asked to do a showjumping rally for east aberdeenshire pony club at waulkmill but felt it wasn't safe to take horse boxes out  so they decided to run it as a dismounted rally instead. It was great fun and I hope all the kids enjoyed themselves &learned something!

11 March once again the weather has taken its toll &i have had to cancel my Annnandale training night!

10th March all ready and nowhere to go! Meant to be at a BS show at Cabin equestrian centre but it was cancelled due to blizzard condition!

9th March had a great day judging the showjumping at Waulkmill show centre. Fab to see so many clients & all of them improving!

1st - 3rd March had a cracking weekend at Cabin Equestrian. Cristalle Lorellen had a spooky stop the first day then jumped 2 beautiful double clears coming third place both days & gaining some double clears in the British Novice! Valinni (owned by Brian & Natasha Rennie) jumped her heart out gaining 2 seconds and a fourth place in the 1m amateur qualifying for the semi final. And Aslan H jumped great in the 1.15 A10 on the Friday and came 2nd also qualifying for the semi final! Looking forward to cabin this weekend again!

15th & 16th Jan - Unfortunately due to road & weather conditons I have decided to cancel the training nights at Waulkmill show centre, Ellon. Hopefully it will be better for the next ones on 29th & 30th Jan at Waulkmill & 21st Jan at Annandale Riding centre, Mintlaw.

11th-13th Jan - What a fab start to 2013! Took Aslan H, Cristalle Lorellen & Valinni to the Cabin Equestrian Centre 3 day show. Cristalle Lorellen excelled herself with a double clear in the 80cm  & the British Novice gaining 3rd & 4th placings. Extremely pleased with her as this was only her 3 show & 1st time indoors. Aslan H had a double clear in the 1.10m & a clear & unlucky 4 faults in the 1.10 gaining 2nd & 5th place. Valinni, a new ride to me, owned by Brian & Natasha Rennie had an unlucky 4 faults then jumped a lovely double clear in the British Novice & came 2nd. Very successful start to the season!

2013

We are all full up for full livery. If you are interested please email & I will put you on the waiting list.

Have managed to add a new venue to my training nights list. I will now also be running them at Annandale Riding Club, Mintlaw. The first date is 6th November which is already fully booked & the next one will be the 12th November. Hoping to organise them fortnightly. Keep checking for new dates.

27th Oct - Off to Edinburgh for my sisters belated 30th Birthday & Mikeys's birthday! She didn't want to have a party in July as she was pregnant! We all had a great night with our fancy dress!

26th Oct - Weaned William (Heirloom Lorellen). He really was no bother at all. Lhanna was delighted to have some freedom!!! She jogged all the way to the field little does she know there will be another one appearing in June!

23,24 & 25th Oct - Unbelivable busy training nights at Waulkmill Show Centre Ellon was fully booked all three nights with a waiting list!

20th & 21st Oct  - Busy weekend of Intense Training. Put Zoe Wright with Ebony  & Arlene Stewart with Murphy through there paces & they done fab. What a huge improvement. Got such a lovely weekend for it also. Would think after 4 lessons each over 2 days they deserved a well earned rest on the Monday!

13th Oct  - Had a weekend off & went to see Phantom of the Oprah. It was brill then on the Sat went to watch the SSH 3 year old loose jumping as Lhanna's first foal is 3 next year & just wanted to see what they looked for. To say I was very disappointed in the judging is an understatement. Doubt I will be taking Ellie there next year!

6th & 7th Oct   -  Back to Cabin Equestrian Centre again & Suzie excelled herself! She jumped the 80cm all 3 days with a 3rd & 2 4th places. Felt like she had done it all her life! Dan jumped great & was double clear & 2nd in the Newcomers.

29th & 30th Sept - Took Aslan H & Cristalle Lorellen H to Cabin. Aslan was double clear & 4th in the 1.10 Amateur Qualifier final & has qualified for the final at Aintree & in the 1.15 Qualifier final he had an unlucky 4 flts. Suzie jumped in the 80cm having never done a course of jumps before or seen any fillers! There was a double & treble but she jumped everything beautifully with two baby runouts! So pleased with them both!

I am now taking booking for the Intense Training Packages for the October Holidays. 16th -20th Sept - Wooop Woop HOLIDAYS!!!! Had a fab time in Majorca!!

7th Sept - I took our 1st colt William (Heirloom Lorellen) who is out of our prolific jumping mare Lhanna who jumped successfully up to 1.50m by VDL Silverstone to the KWPN grading at MFS stud in Gamrie. He came 2nd out of the jumping foals & was top jumping colt with a score of 70. The judges were very taken by Lhanna who couldn't believe she was 17 & recommended grading her as she would definately make an Elite mare. They commented that she was one of the best mares they had seen in the UK!

Aug - Sorry I haven't updated for a while its just been so busy! In Aug Suzie (Cristal Lorellen) came back into work so hopefully will have her out jumping in October.  Dan had a few outings to Cabin Equestrian & Tillyoch gaining several double clears & good placings in new/1.10 & 1.15 Amateur classes & just started to jump Foxhunters.

19th July - whilst at cabin I had a phone call at 2.15am to say my sister Caroline had had a baby boy!, 8lbs 61/2 oz. Huge congratulations to Mikey & Caroline on the arrival of Travis William Stevenson. I jumped in the car & headed straight to Edinburgh to see them! Thanks to team Buchan for looking after Dan!

13th - 22nd July - Cabin  Equestrian Centre Sunshine Tour!  Wow what a week!!
Dan jumped tremendously. He jumped 4 Newcomer classes & jumped 4 double clears gaining 3 1sts & a 4th rosette! He also jumped the discovery 2nd round in which he jumped a beautiful double clear then couldnt understand why he had to jump again so his batteries went flat & he had a few down. Was so disappointed for him but he made up for it the rest of the week!  I also had quite a few pupils to train at the show. They all done me very proud coming back with a variety of rosettes including quite few red ones!! Well done Natasha Rennie, Megan Willox, rhiannah slamaker, Atlanta jack, Jodie moir, Aimee mowat, Zoe wright & Rebecca Gordon. Huge thanks to Fiona, Morgan & the gem at cabin they done a fab job!

12th July - great news Lhanna was scanned in foal again to VDL Silverstone!!

10th & 11th July - both nights fully booked at Waulkmill show centre training nights. Think I will have to add another day soon!

2nd - 6th July - was asked to train at East Aberdeenshire Pony Club camp. I had great week with fab kids! Well done Aimee Mowat, Megan Horne, Katie Anderson, Lindsay Park & Rebecca Gordon for making my week fun! O & not to forget the brill 3 course meals that were served up everyday! Those parents cn cook!

1st July - had a great show at Tillyoch Equestrian Centre. Dan (Aslan H), was 3rd in the Newcomers & did his first Foxhunter in which he was 4th. Was well chuffed with him. Natasha Rennie also came along with her horse Valinni & did well in the British novice.

22 June - had a training day at tillyoch equestrian centre owned by Michael & Sarah Hamilton.  This is a brilliant new facility on the outskirts of Aberdeen. The horses jumped great so looking forward to competing there next weekend.

14th June - suzie has made a fantastic recovery & is now sound!! Giving her a few more weeks off to make sure & will start her back after the sunshine tour.

9 & 10th June - yay finally at a show!! Took dan to cabin equestrian centre & he jumped great but think we're both a bit rusty! He was clear & 1 down in new & 1 unlucky fence in 1.10. Natasha Rennie also came along for her debut after a 20 year absence from the show ring! She has been getting intense training with me with her horse Valinni. She did fantastic &came away with a 4th in the 80 & a 4th in the British novice.

June - Rachel Westcott has joined the team as the stay at home groom when i'm away competing! Great to have someone reliable & attentive to be there whilst I'm away!

27th may - happy birthday dad big 60 today!!

24th may - fantastic news Lhanna's has given birth to a gorgeous colt by VDL Silverstone. He was born at 8.50pm & I have named him William after my late grandad who loved Holstein horses! His show name will be "Heirloom Lorellen"

16 May - I have moved into the lorry! Lhanna was due on Monday but still no signs!!

14th may - Lhanna's due date but as usual she is late!!

8,9,10th may - was vey busy at my waulkmill training nights. Full booked all 3days!

May - the start of my intense training weekends. These are proving very popular & I have quite a few booked for the coming months.

1st May - Dan is now back in work again after he decided to kick the post & rail at Cabin whilst warming up! He pulled a ligament in his back! Hoping to have him out jumping shortly. Suzie is still off. She has a haematoma on her shoulder (no idea how she has done it)!!

25th Apr - After discussion's with Knockleith Eureka's owner's Mandy & Steve Quinn it was decided that Dudley should seriously take up dressage after gaining 9's with me! I have never sat on a horse with so much movement before! It was decided that Caroline Simmers should take the ride with her vast experience of stallions & her talent for dressage I'm sure they will go far!

15 Apr - For the 1st time in her life Lhanna has produced an udder before she foals!! She normally only develops an udder after foaling, no waxing up or running milk! So it is usually a very stressful time & hard to tell when she will foal! Fingers crossed after 2 foals she is finally becoming a "normal" mare!! She is due on 14th May to VDL Silverstone! I will soon be living in the lorry again!

10/11 Apr - Very busy training clinics at Waulkmill Show Centre & already fully booked for the next sessions 24/25th April. Also great to hear all pupils are puting what they have been taught into practice with some cracking results!

1st Apr – Knockleith Eureka (Dudley) – Today Dudley went to the BRC Dressage at Waulkmill, he was FANTASTIC and gained 73% and 70% attaining several 9’s!!!  Considering he hasn’t done much all winter due to weather and Mandys time constraints we are all delighted.  Who says a showjumper cant do “Stressage” – don’t think I will be giving up my day day job tho!

31 Mar - Ladyleys had a dressage show on so I thought it would be the ideal place to take Suzie after the weekend before's performance! She behaved impecably well, travelling alone & in arenas's shes never been before! She came 3rd & 4th.

25 Mar - Took Dan & Suzie to Cabin BS show. Dan warmed up great then had an exhuberant buck & kicked the post & rail in the practice arena. He didn't jump well after that & on the Monday we had the Physio out to him & he has pulled a ligament in his back. Nothing too serious & hoepfully a weeks rest will cure it! I took Suzie so that she would get the feel of a show enviroment but Dan screamed & Suzie thought she was at a rodeo!!! How I stayed on I will never know!!!

21 Mar - All the horses had a visit from Equine Dentist Alex Moulder. Cannot recommend Alex enough. Even a horse that usually needs sedated he managed to do no problem!

19 Mar - Turned the yearlings back out for good. They were unbelivably well behaved!

18 Mar - Maybe a wee bit early but decided to take Suzie to the Waulkmill Dressage. She behaved perfectly apart from a buck everytime I asked for canter! Think its the ideal thing to get the youngsters out socialising.

4 Mar - Suzie (Cristalle Lorellen) (Champagne H x Ludwig H) has finally had the all clear fot be back under saddle!!! So excited can't wait to get her out jumping!

22nd Jan - Had a fantastic time at Cabin Equestrian Centre. Dan, Aslan H, (Pall Mall  H x Ludwig H) was 1st in the 1.15m. After only starting jumping bigger tracks last weekend he excelled himself today! Good Boy Dan!!!

16th Jan - What a frosty morning. The manege was frozen solid. Hopefully it will thaw by afternoon as I really need to get my 5 year old Suzie (Cristalle Lorellen) Champagne x Ludwig into serious work.  Knockleith Eureka (Dudley) owned by Mandy Quinn is also back into work after his winter holidays so will be an exciting year getting the youngsters out jumping!

15th Jan - Went to Cabin with Aslan H & put him staight into the 1.10m. He jumped fab & did a lovely double clear & was 4th. This is the 1st time he has stepped up a class & really thrived on it.

30 & 1st Jan - Took Alsan H to Cabin for their New Year show (unfortunately was unable to stay over!) On The Fri we jumped the Dis & 1.05m in which we got a DC & came 4th. On the Sun (No Hangover!) had an unlucky 4flts in both 1M & New. Just a bit rusty but looking forward to the year ahead!

WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & A FANTASTIC NEW YEAR!!!

17 - 20th Dec  -  Had the most fantastic time at Olympia watching some amazing horses & shopping till I was dropping!! All kitted out for the New Year!

Nov/ Dec  -  Weather been rubbish!! Seems Peterhead is the only place to have snow!!! So competition have been on hold for a bit!

28th Nov - Weaned the foals! Anna & Mandy didn't bat an eyelid! Two broodmares just wanted back out to the field as soon as the deed was done!

30th October  -  Took Daniel to Cabin Equestrian Centre. 1st time indoors since last winter.  A wee bit spooky in 1st class & had an unlucky fence then jumped a lovely double clear.

7th & 9th October - Took Daniel (Aslan H) to Cabin Equestrian. 1st time he has jumped since he had his teeth fixed & he jumped fab - no more messing about with his head! He was 2nd & DC in the Discovery on the Friday. On the Sunday I decided to put him straight into the Newcomers & he had a very unlucky pole down just jumping to high at an oxer & not getting the width.

4th & 5th October - I had to add an extra day to the Waulkmill training nights as couldn't fit everyone in on the same night & had a waiting list! Both days were fully booked!

20th September - The 1st training night at Waulkmill, Ellon Fully booked!

18th September - Just back from a fab break to Majorca & ready to get stuck into the horses!

11th September - Sherleen Fraser asked if I would come along to support her & read out her test at the Ugie Dressage show. This was her second outing with Red, Conquisador, & she did 2 classes the Intro & Prelim. They both done excellent winning both classes! Also well done to Shelby Ingram who gained a high percentage with Tommy to take 2nd place!

10th September - I was asked to judge at the Waulkmill Unaffiliated showjumping competition & it was great to see some of my pupils out in competition. They did fantastically well! Well done Toni Shepherd, Lesley Reid, Megan Horne, Annie Rees, Claire Fotheringham, Gemma Taylor & Pip Hulme! Another pupil, Karen Grant & Littlehill Joker, went to the BS show at Cabin & was double clear & 3rd in the 90cm.

9th September - I have finally become self employed! No more driving buses at 5AM!!! The horses are having a small holiday at the moment but will certainly be back out jumping again soon.

7th September - Waulkmill Showjumping Clinic was fully booked.

26th August - We dropped Vegas off at her new home! We wish Faith Farthing all the best & I'm sure she will have as much fun with her as I have! A sad but happy day as she is going to a great new home!

21st August - Sherleen Fraser had her first outing wih her new horse Red (Conquisador - a horse we found her through our Horse Finder Service), she went to Ugie Dressage at Richmond Equestrian Centre. Its the first time she has competed since she was 12 & has only had Red for 6 weeks. She came 2nd in the Intro class. Sherleen & her team were over the moon! Think this will be the first of many placings as both horse & rider looked fab.

7th August - We took Knockleith Eureka, AKA Dudley, (Mandy & Steve Quinn's Stallion) to the Waulkmill Dressage League & he did  lovely test & came 2nd in the Intro! He behaved so well. Everytime out he just gets better & better!

End July - We attended the Cabin Sunshine Tour - Slightly lacked the sunshine but had the most fantastic time. Huge congratulations to Fiona, Morgan & their team for the massive organisation that went into the tour. Daniel (Alsan H) Pall Mall x Ludwig, our 6 year old, had a few double clears & placings in the Discovery & Vegas (Wow It's Vegas) x Maximillion Remexico, had some nice double clears & placings in some hotly contested Newcomers. We took Suzie (Cristalle Lorellen) Champagne H x Ludwig, our 4 year old just for the "stabling over" experience & she behaved like a mature 10 year old!

28th July - More babies due! - another positive pregnancy scan today for Sox, our Heartbreaker mare who is expecting a foal to VDL Silverstone and due in early July 2011.

Sunday 17th July 2011 - This Sunday we took Dan & Vegas to the Cabin Intro show just to get them out before the Sunshine tour as with foals & wedding they haven't been out for a while. They both jumped lovely double clears in the 1m class. Thanks to my groom (slave for the day) Rhia Slamaker!

7th July 2011 - Exciting news, today Lhanna was scanned in foal for 2012 to VDL Silverstone.

Sunday 10th July 2011 - Today I went to Ugie Dressage with Dudley which I am competing on behalf of owners Mandy & Steve Quinn. He did very well even though he was VERY excited at his 1st outing! He came 2nd with a more than respectable 64.34% in the Intro class. Pics to follow!

30 June 2011 - Hurrah another bouncing filly, also by Ben Nevis, at 3.30am this morning. Our Heartbreaker mare, Sox, did very well and both are sleeping now and so am I - off to bed!! We have named her Mandy after our foalie midwife!

30th June 2011 - I am delighted to have been asked to produce and compete a 4 year old Stallion "Knockleith Eureka" aka Dudley for his owners Mandy & Steve Quinn.  Dudley was bred by Mandy and has already shown great potential. In 2008 he was the highest placed yearling across all disciplines in the UK BEF Futurity Series gaining an Elite Status.  As a 3 year old he narrowly missed repeating this feat due to a field injury but still was placed 2nd equal highest in the eventing section throughout the UK BEF Futurity Series.

25th June 2011 - My sister Caroline & her fiance Mikey tied the knot today at Harburn House near Edinburgh. We had the most fantastic time even though it rained just as they walked down the aisle. She had planned to be married on the lawn but everyone had to lift their chairs & evacuate to the marquee! She must be the only bride to have walked down the aisle twice & get married to the same man on the same day! We wish them all the best for their future together!

8th May 2011  - At last!! The first foal due this year has arrived at 9.50pm - a beautiful healthy filly out of Lhanna and by Ben Nevis, a young stallion bred and owned by Mr Ben Wentink of the Scottish AI Centre. Ben Nevis, who has just started his jumping career is currently competing in Holland.   We have named our filly Anna or Giovanna Lorellen as her posh name! Thanks to Mandy Quinn for all her midwifery skills!
